OK, so it wasn't really lost. I actually got a lot out of it, but it did take away from my writing time. Or so I say.
Went to Kelowna, to a women's weekend. Sound wonderful, doesn't it? Kelowna, with their no snow and above freezing temperatures, in a nice resort hotel, eating good food and talking business with like minded women. What could be better, right? Well, not having procrastinated away half of this quarter could have been better. Having more complete projects could have been better. Selling a book would have been a hell of a lot better. But, there you are.
So, I've come home ready to get back to work. My work is organizing and decluttering, so that I can move forward in my business. Yahoo for that. Procrastinator of the year, and I must move forward. Meaningfully. Ah well. It must be so, if I want to see money in my pocket from writing this year.
Almost finished reading "Ender's Game." It was funny, I was rationing the pages I allowed myself to read over the weekend so that I'd have enough to last for the whole 54 minute flight home! Did it too. I have about a chapter and a half left to go. Still a good read. Will let you know how it ends (ha ha).
Did not work on Seeing the Light this weekend, but will be back at it tomorrow. Hope to kick the heck out of it in the next week, so that I can shoot it back out, and have all my finished work in circulation. Will not kick my own butt if it's not finished, though. I need to give it the time it needs to be complete, and it's not close yet. But I'm getting there. Thank goodness.
Nothing yet about Manhood Road. Continue with the white light and good thoughts, please.
